Seattle Chapter

Manya is a student at Henry M. Jackson High School in Mill Creek, Washington. After learning about the impact domestic violence has on children and recognizing how often their emotional needs go unmet, she joined The Safe Nest Project to help bring comfort, stability, and care to young survivors in her community. As the Bothell Chapter Head, she works to build partnerships with local shelters and expand access to comfort kits for families in crisis. Outside of the nonprofit, Manya enjoys playing basketball, traveling, and spending time with friends.
