South Florida Chapter

Abigail is a sophomore at North Broward Preparatory School. Witnessing the effects of domestic violence inspired her to start a chapter of The Safe Nest Project, with the goal of supporting and uplifting children affected by domestic violence in her community.

Outside of the non-profit, Abigail is a policy debater, member of Spirit Club and Math Club, dancer, and a volunteer at Hands on South Florida.

Mia is a student at North Broward Preparatory school passionate to make a difference in her community. After learning about the impact domestic violence has on children’s lives, she became committed to making a difference through The Safe Nest Project. Mia is a member of interact club, her schools newspaper, and is a dancer and cheerleader.
